All sorts of businesses have the opportunity to go global.

One of my professors started out in global marketing selling knapsacks.

I have worked for several companies operating in international markets with international sales teams. These include a promotional advertising company, a chemical recycling plant and an education institution offering finance courses around the world.

I think you would find most international sales jobs would be found in the business to business sector rather than business to consumer.
