Q&A: How hard is it to get into San Francisco state?

Question by shrddrshrty: How hard is it to get into San Francisco state?
I am looking to get into san francisco state (not University of San Francisco). I am looking at majoring in computer science or software design with a minor in marketing. I have a 3.0 with honors classes (unweighted) is there a decent chance I’ll get in?
oh ya i’m out of state. if you know of any other colleges that have computer science and marketing let me know.

With a GPA like yours you will have no problem getting into San Fran state. A friend of mine had a 2.4 GPA and got accepted there. Nice guy and all, but he is not the sharpest tool in the shed. You’ll pass with flying colors. That’s one thing I don’t think you’ll have to worry about. Good luck.

My brother works in Seattle as a software engineer. He was laid off about three years ago for about 8-10 months but was rehired through the same company.
