developers *always* demand a better salary than a tester. not only that but SQL server developer (or any other programming developer for that matter) can easily find positions. software testers are not really *that* common. most businesses actually have the developers do unit testing (basic functionality checks, etc.) and the users to actually test the business side of things. i 12 years of programming (a lot of that time as a consultant working tons of different clients) i’ve only been in one company that had QA/software testers but all had developers. so from my experience developer positions are 10 times more than testers.

Where to find database server? ?

I am in Internet marketing

I am trying to enter database server, database name, database password, while trying to install a software.

However, after I have created the database name and set the password, I am still lacking the database server. I am told that my hosting account does not handle this.

So where do I get my database server?

Some web hosting accounts offer database access, some don’t. You should go on your web host’s website and see what they offer, and if database is provided, their site should have documentation for how to access it.
