Question by kgnbyb i: dinner party.. do i need to?
I am planning a dinner party. I have a few friends that do not eat meat. Is it offensive to vegans and vegitarians to be at a dinner party where many of the dishes have meat or meat products? I am serving alot of veggie dishes as well.. I just do not want to offend anyone so that everyone has a good time.
Any thoughts?

Most vegans and vegetarians understand that the whole world does not share their belief system. They don’t go to a restaurant and then get offended when steak is on the menu (actually, many just don’t go to restaurants). They know you eat meat. They know many of your friends eat meat. They will most likely be glad for the veggie dishes you have thoughtfully included and focus more on having a good time than on what’s being served and what’s not being served.
