Question by m_steiner: who can help with html?
I am just beginning to learn html from a book called “a beginners guide to html.” being excited to try out what i have learned so far, I found that I have been able to write some text, change the font, the font size and color. not too exciting since those basic functions are available in Microsoft Word amongst other word processing software on the market. However, it is kind of exciting to a beginner such as my self when I am just beginning to learn html and was able to get the text to come up in the browser i am using. Here is the problem, when I use Firefox the text looks just the way I want it to, however, when I use Microsoft Internet Explorer, the text does not display the way I want. I have tried making Explorer my default browser and creating a new html document thinking that would work, and that didn’t work either. Is there a setting in Notepad, which is what i use to create the documents, or in either one of or both of my browsers i need to change? do I need to disable Firefox, if so how? I don’t want to uninstall Firefox it has a lot of features i like and bookmarks, etc. I don’t want to lose. any suggestions?
