It’s written specially for them. I doubt whether it’s available in any form – commercial or otherwise.

But then I realized just how damn long that question is and I gave up.

Good computers?

Question by Wendy G: Good computers?
I’m in the market for a computer. I listen to itunes, edit photos (I like taking photos), and the internet. Oh yeah, I’m a student too (college) so appropiate software. I’ve been to dell.com but they so many questions. I know I don’t want the usual anti-virus that comes with computers. Norton and McAfee suck. I plan on buying a real anti-virus program. Other than that I have no clue. I’m not very keen on hp’s. I bought one when I was a freshmen and I just had problem after problems.

Answer by UbiquitousGeek
If you’re into iTunes, photos and internet, a Mac would be your best choice. Well, actually, a Mac is always your best choice. You wouldn’t need any anti-virus on a Macintosh.

Q&A: Is this PC I’ve built good and can anyone help me because Im useless with computers?

Question by Anastacia: Is this PC I’ve built good and can anyone help me because Im useless with computers?
Ok well I want to buy a very good Desktop PC no more than £1000. My cousin suggested building one up and he have me DinoPC website since he built up one on there for himself. However he is no computer genius either so I need someone who is good with computers with experience to help me out on this matter or even if you have any advice It’d be much appreciated. Basically this is what I’ve built up -
Intel P55 Crossfire Chipset (custom-p55-xf)
£351.22 £351.22
Customizations:
CPU: Intel Core i5 650 : £56.60

Operating System: No Operating System – I will install my own : Included

Motherboard: Asus P7P55D-E Pro : Included

Memory: 8.0GB Corsair DDR3 1600mhz DHX CL9 (4x 2GB) : £86.80

Hard Drives: 1TB S-ATAII 3.0Gb/s : £17.40

Optical Drive: 22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA Lightscribe : £3.50

Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 5570 1GB : £42.50

Sound card: Onboard 7.1 Audio : Included

Software: Nero and PowerDVD : £5.95

Internet: Wireless 802.11G PCI card : £9.99

Keyboard and mouse: Keyboard, mouse and speakers : £12.19

Headphones and Headsets: Creative HS-950 USB Gaming Headset : £42.99

Webcams: Trust Megapixel Webcam Pro WB-6250X : £23.99

Monitors: NEW! LG 24′ W2486L-PF LED : £238.99

Case: Antec Twelve Hundred : £105.70

PSU: 500W PSU : Included

Warranty: 3 Year Bronze Warranty : Included

Ok so thats what I’ve selected. It comes to a total of just under £1000. But my questions are.
1. Is DinoPC reliable enough, for example I’m not too bothered if their late delivering but more the quality of the product itself. Is it the best quality? Do they handle it with proper care and not just sling it together?
2. Is this PC ok? I mean with everything on it, will it run ok, because I want it to be the best computer, and will be doing gaming on it and stuff but I don’t want a situation where it crashes all the time and I loose things all the time because say theres too much on there, or it can’t handle it all, or theres just things Ive put on that should be something else.So can anyone suggest anything? Like for example things I need to add on (e.g more fans although the case itself comes with a good few fans inbuilt but will that be enough? Or better graphics or less graphics? Less ram? etc etc) can someone guide me on this or what they would do? For all I know I could of built a computer that will crash the moment it turns on lol.
3. Does anyone have any suggestions for other websites to build on for example more reliable than DinoPC, somewhere with the best quality and best reviews, but also somewhere not complicated to build up? Because I had a look on pcspecialist and somewhere called cube127 or something and I struggled putting all of what I’ve picked out in there I couldnt use it. So if anyone else would mind putting the information I want on the computer on to the website and then quoting me whether its better or more pricey, or even make suggestions? It doesnt have to be a built PC either if anyone knows an already built PC on the market thats similar to this one, and very very good around the same price let me know.

Sorry I know theres so much but I want to make sure Im getting the best for my money, and making a smart choice, and researching it all first before I buy it and then end up with a million problems and no chance of rectifying it. Thank you.

Mannn what an awesum pc you have made. Ok here are some suggestions:
1) If you want a really awesum gaming pc….Increase Graphic card to 2GB
2) Put another sound card which is not included. It must be around 1GB.

i dont know abt the site you mentioned because i have not ever used it.
But I would suggest you to once go to dell’s Site where you can build your own desktop (although it doesnt offers many choices) or you can check the price of Dell Alienware… They are the best gaming PCs aroung… See if they fit your budget….mail me for anymore querys
